you can just about hear the grass grow!
Lots of rain here of late. No damage thankfully. Living in a fog of humidity at the moment though in the aftermath.
I have been a bit slack in the blogging department of late, hope to relaunch into things with some more frequent posts ..... soonish!
Take care.
cheers Wendy

Yes! Everything is so green! Glad you've kept out of harms way :)
Yep you can hear it at our place, I think you can also see it. It is all smelling a bit swampy. Glad to hear all is well.
Glad to hear you've escaped damage. It's been so dry here in Melbourne I can't remember the last time we had rain... Until tonight. But luckily not too much.
Glad to hear you are safe and sound. We are having rain tonight in Melbourne which is lovely as it has been very dry for this city.
Take care,
Anne xx
It's the same here, it is growing so fast that our dustbowl has not only turned green but needs mowing this weekend!
Green is good right! Talk about extremes, it's just the way it happens here isn't it?
I'm guessing it won't take too long for it to dry out a bit, if the rain keeps away again!
VG we were like that too before the deluge.... and then it rained, and rained some more.
Your garden will appreciate that Anne! I've only been to Melbourne a couple of times but I find it hard to imagine it dry.
We managed to get ours mown yesterday Carol, a bit slushy, but mown. There was a carpet snake on the verandah the other night, so I was keen for at least the grass around the house to be mown!
Seems w'ere the ones missing out on the rain here in NE Vic........a good drop would put the fire out up at Mt. Hotham and give our garden a good, satisfying drink. Having just typed that, it's very dark outside, so fingers crossed....
So glad the rain hasn't caused any damage Wendy and I can imagine how humid it is, uggh!!
Looks lovely and green .....

Good luck, sending some (light) rain vibes your way. Your garden photos are always so lovely, it's difficult to imagine it dry. Enjoy the weekend.
sure has been wet, crazy weather actually/ glad to here it hasnt affected you too badly.
I think you are right about hearing the grass grow,Duchess! I have mown my lawn twice this week and it doesn't look like I have mown at all. Great time for planting seeds though ...I have things coming up everywhere..just lovely!
We're having quite a summer aren't we? If it's not raining, it's stinking hot with the threat of bushfires or, (here in the mountains at least) down to 10C and needing to put the heating on!
Love your pictures. xx
