Well I know it's Friday, not Wednesday, but it's been a bit of a busy week. So, rather than miss out I'm posting my Winter themed photo now.
Hazel has a lovely Winter Wednesday theme on her blog which I'd encourage you to join. I think it's a nice way of sharing the different kinds of winters we are involved in - some more extreme than others!
I took this photo just 10 minutes ago - beautiful clear blue skies after a cold and gloomy day yesterday.
Thought I'd get the firewood in early as have a busy afternoon today. Our winters here in Qld are not extreme by any means (I know what you're going to say you Southeners! I know!).
However, even after all these years of having a fireplace, it's still a bit of a thrill to be able enjoy a fire on a cool night.
Cheers for now - Wendy

The sun was out at our place today...divine. However it is clouding over as I type. Bye bye sun.
Hi there,I can relate well to your photo as we have been collecting, stacking&chopping firewood for the last few weeks!!Home is Victoria and as I write 5C and falling!!!New to blogging and enjoying following Hazels Winter Wednesdays.
Cheers!
We are just coming into 'Summer' here in England but our Spring has been very warm. Lovely in some ways but now parts of the country have a Hosepipe ban on them.
We try and collect fire wood all year to use in our Multi-fuel burner.

Nelly - yes we have had a bit of a cold snap eh! 12 deg. You can't beat the fireplace on a cold rainy day.
Daff - we seem to have days like that a lot lately too. Beaut blue skies in the morning, clouding over in the afternoon.
Andrea - Welcome! thanks for your comment. We are spoilt here and 5 deg would be very unusual.
SFT - the weather is def changing a bit isn't it. How does the multi-fuel burner work? Wood and what else?
Love the photo. It reminds me of a time when life wasn't so hectic and on fast forward.
