...... that makes blog reading so delicious? I know that I certainly enjoy looking into aspects of other lives. It's all the little things that make it enjoyable - their garden, their bookshelf and what they read and so on.
It's seeing inside their cupboards and knowing that other people are real after all ..... and that we all tend to just shove things into drawers just to get them out of the way!! Example A:
This storage unit in our family room looks ok from the outside. I have already given it a bit of a tidyup in the last 6 months or so. However, it's what lurks beneath that could really be cluttered and not how I want things to be in the big picture.
So these are my 'before' photos of drawers of the unit. As you can see through the slats of the doors, there is quite a bit lurking inside as well. I'm not about to tackle the glassware just yet as there are other plans on the declutter agenda.
In my case, for some bizarre reason, I also have to hum a few bars of Release Me. It works for me.
'After' photos tomorrow - plus I'm planning a little giveaway. Watch this space!
Cheers Wendy

Pls come and descend upon my top drawer...it's alive I think and I do hear grumblings every now and again! Maybe it's the spring tonic thingie...it's calling me!
i also love it in blogland, reading blogs has replaced reading magazines/watching tv etc.I love being able to have a peek into people's lives all over the world. It's reassuring to know that everyone seems to have a lot of the same issues too :)
Look forward to seeing your after pics :)
I so agree with you about blogland. Like Dreamer above, magazines have been replaced by reading blogs and gettign a glimpse into the lives of others.
I love blogs, too - and I think you're right -- seeing so many people's lives from a very personal perspective not only makes us feel closer but helps me see that we're not so very different after all.
Can't wait to see the pictures tomorrow!
Haha Sophie - if only I could! I have top drawers aplenty myself. Maybe there is something in there you've brought back from the beach.
dreamer - it is nice to know there are like minded people around. Good therapy to read into other lives.
mangocheeks - it's cheaper than buying mags too!
Amy - I know, it's a bit voyueristic almost (but in a good way of course). I'm getting really bad, I have to put the timer on so that I can Step Away.
